Stun guns ARE legal in Tennessee and Georgia.. and so are cell phones.. So what's the connection Calvin? We're testing a stun gun. It's an ordinary stun gun.. except, it LOOKS like a cellphone.. DOES IT WORK, or should we tell the Motedo folks, to just ''hang it up?''

This is not going to be a fun test.
The CellPhone Stun Gun uses one nine-volt battery, and there are no directions..
No CPR instructions, either.
There IS a safety lock on it, so after loading the battery and taking the safety off, I handed the Cellularphone Type Stun Gun to Nolan, the guinea pig for this experiment..
I went off to become a mugger and I didn't want to hear what it sounded like while he practiced with it.. I didn't want to hear it and know what to expect.
He clipped it on his belt, and took a walk.
I quietly sneak up behind him and grab him from behind, just like a mugger would.. I grabbed him in a bear hug and we struggled.. once he got ahold of the Cellular Phone Type Stun Gun, he jabbed in into the top of my hand, just behind the fingers and hit the juice.
The charge hit a nerve on the back of my hand that went up my arm, knocking me back..
Seems, our muggee had some difficulty.. Nolan says, because he's right-handed, trying to get it free of the belt clip was difficult.
And while you're fumbling for it, Hamilton County Sheriff's Lieutenant Billy Long says a SMART mugger COULD catch sight of what you're doing.. he says first of all, ''the stun gun and its jolt should come as a surprise to your attacker.. he doesn't need to know you've got any type of weapon.''
He also says, any stun gun works best when it zaps the right area.. ''zapping a nerve, especially on the hand, the wrist or the neck area will take 'em out quicker, the let-go reflex will be faster, it'll jerk 'em into the reality that 'hey, this person's gonna fight back.'''
Apparently, Nolan zapped me in one of the best places to make a statement.

It did work for us, but folks.. if the mugger got HIS hands on the Cellular Phone Type Stun Gun, or any other weapon, he could use it on YOU..
